Representatives of Government Agencies and the President of Russia Support the Personal Data Security Conference
Greetings to the future participants in the VI Personal Data Security International Conference have been sent by Mr. Alexander Makhonov, RF Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr. Yevgeny Murov, Head of the Federal Security Guard Service of the Russian Federation, and Mr. Pavel Astakhov, Presidential Ombudsman for Children’s Rights. The Conference will be held at the Renaissance Moscow Monarch Centre Hotel in Moscow (31A stroenie 1, Leningradsky prospect) on 10 November 2015. The Conference will address security of confidential information in the modern world. Presentations will be made by representatives of legislative and executive government bodies, members of sectoral associations, data processing operators, manufacturers and designers of personal data security systems, telecom companies and other stakeholders.
The opening address will be delivered by Mr. Alexander Zharov, Head of Roscomnadzor (RCN). The Conference will focus on application of Federal Law No. 242, which became effective on 1 September 2015. Clarifications of the new law’s principal provisions will be provided by Ms. Antonina Priezzheva, Deputy Head of Roscomnadzor.
Special attention will be given to international data processing and storage practices. Presentations will be made by officials of the supervisory authorities of the United Kingdom, Germany, Hong Kong, Serbia, Slovenia, Kyrghyzstan, and Azerbaijan.
